Paint Shop Pro filters are created within the program. As far as I know, there is no way to just give you something to put in a folder and tell you to use it. You will have to copy the numbers EXACTLY as I have them here, in order to get the same effect. If you are in PSP 6, go to "Image", "User Defined Filters". When the window pops up, click on "NEW". Then place the following numbers into the little boxes EXACTLY as you see them here. In PSP 7, go to "EFFECTS", then to "User Defined". When the window pops up, click on "NEW". Then place the following numbers into the little boxes EXACTLY as you see them here. It might be best to save the graphic below in your hardrive. That way, you can easily refer to it so you know what numbers to put where. I added the red numbers so you could see it better. After you give your filter a name and add the numbers, click "OK" to create it.
To use it, go to "User Defined" or "User Defined Filters", choose the one you want from the list, and click "Apply". It will change your image, using the filter you chose. OK. The filter I made above, will change a daytime graphic like this:
Into a nightime graphic like this:
